Seasonal Meat Process Workers
Our 2026 – 2027 season is about to kick off at our Dannevirke Plant! We are currently looking for Meat Process Workers to join the team on Night shift.
Te Tūranga – The role:
Right now, we’re looking for:
- Slaughter Board – Skilled Butchers, Labourers and Knife Hands
- Further Processing – Skilled Boners and Labourers
- Load Out – Freezer Hands and Forklift Drivers (OSH and F Endorsed)
- Yards – Livestock handlers
If you’ve got experience doing the mahi – awesome, but if you’ll be coming in fresh and just keen to earn while you learn – that’s good too. We have a number of Labouring roles and we’ll train you up!

- You are eligible to work in New Zealand
- You will pass a pre-employment drug test and medical assessment
- You are willing and able to follow and respect workplace health and safety

- You have two forms of identification to prove that you are legally entitled to work in New Zealand, this can be either a Passport or Drivers Licence and Birth Certificate
