Climate and Weather:
In Oamaru, Waitaki District, the summers are comfortable, the winters are cold and windy, and it is partly cloudy year round. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 5°C to 20°FC and is rarely below 3.3°C or above 24°C.

Our Alliance Pukeuri plant is gearing up for a big 2025/2026 season, and we’re on the lookout for motivated people to join our team in a variety of processing roles — from general labourers to butchers and boners across day and night shifts at our large processing facility in Oamaru.
Te Tūranga – The Role
We’re offering full-time seasonal work, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays during peak periods.
- Day shift: typically, 7.00am – 4.00pm
- Night shift: typically, 5.00pm – 2.00am
